Lamentations 3:22-23 (NKJV)Heavenly Father, thank You for waking me to a new day. Before the noise begins and before the list of tasks fills my mind, I choose to begin with You.
Your Word says Your mercies are new every morning, so I receive fresh mercy for everything today holds. Where I fell short yesterday, I receive Your forgiveness. Where I feel tired, I receive Your strength.
Order my steps, guard my words and keep my heart soft towards the people I will meet. Let Your peace go before me into every room I enter. Help me to notice Your goodness in small things and to be a blessing wherever You place me.
