Prayer for Guidance and Direction

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

Lord, I need Your direction. I have questions I cannot answer and decisions I cannot make on my own.

I choose to trust You with all my heart and not to lean on my own understanding. In all my ways I acknowledge You, and I ask You to direct my paths. Speak clearly through Your Word, through wise counsel and through Your peace.

Where I am confused, bring clarity. Where I am rushing, slow me down. Where I am afraid, give me courage to obey. I would rather follow You than follow my own plans.
